Album Notes & Community Reviews

Jim O'Rourke's 'jim:computer:hotel' is a glitch-oriented work of electroacoustic composition, built from intricately layered digital soundscapes rather than song forms. It belongs to the Chicago musician's parallel career as an experimental composer alongside his pop and rock productions, favouring sparse textures and quiet, shifting detail.
