Album Notes & Community Reviews
Compiled and released shortly after his tragic death, 'The Cry of Love' is a remarkably cohesive, incredibly funk-oriented glimpse into Jimi Hendrix's final creative evolution. The album is wonderfully warm and fiercely energetic, balancing highly melodic, intensely passionate blues-rock with deeply rhythmic, beautifully playful psychedelic soul elements.
