Album Notes & Community Reviews

Named after the coastal highway that runs through Florida, 'A1A' marks a significant turning point where Jimmy Buffett fully embraced his signature 'Gulf and Western' beach-bum persona. Featuring the classic anthem 'A Pirate Looks at Forty', the album blends laid-back acoustic country-rock with introspective, maritime storytelling.
