Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as his true commercial breakthrough, this breezy collection permanently established Jimmy Buffett's signature 'Gulf and Western' persona. The record is famously anchored by the massive hit 'Margaritaville', which perfectly encapsulates its soothing, aquatic escapism. Blending country, folk, and light rock, the production crafts a mellow, sun-drenched atmosphere that defined a sprawling tropical lifestyle brand.
