Album Notes & Community Reviews

Showcasing his impossibly high, deeply androgynous contralto voice, the remarkably unique vocalist delivers an intensely emotional collection of romantic ballads. His distinctive, agonizingly slow phrasing and heavy vibrato wring profound vulnerability out of the standards, establishing his enduring status as a master of jazz vocal interpretation.
