Album Notes & Community Reviews

Blues titan Jimmy Witherspoon infuses his rugged, soulful baritone into the electric grooves of the 1975 LP 'Love is a Five Letter Word'. Backed by the funk-laden grit of Far Out Productions, the album is a smoky, blues-rock masterclass that bridges classic blues storytelling with potent, mid-70s soul-funk swagger.
