Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stepping out from his role as the Crusaders' primary keyboardist, Sample delivers a quintessential document of late-70s smooth jazz. 'Rainbow Seeker' perfectly balances highly sophisticated, melodic piano improvisations with lush, driving funk grooves, setting a gold standard for the crossover fusion genre.
