Album Notes & Community Reviews

John Cale's 'Honi soit...' returned him to a full-band rock setting after a period of uneven releases and label changes. The album carries his post-Velvet Underground art-rock sensibility into the early-1980s new wave environment, balancing terse arrangements with theatrical unease.
