Album Notes & Community Reviews
The notoriously abrasive Velvet Underground co-founder embraced a shockingly unhinged, heavily glam-inflected persona on this deeply unsettling art-rock tour de force. Highlighted by his terrifying, wildly chaotic deconstruction of 'Heartbreak Hotel', 'Slow Dazzle' is an incredibly anxious, intensely angry album overflowing with wonderfully complex, highly disturbing themes of urban violence and death.
