Album Notes & Community Reviews

Departing significantly from his stark, solitary acoustic guitar masterpieces, John Fahey enlists a full backing band for 'Old Fashioned Love'. The album is a playful, wildly eclectic exploration of early 20th-century Americana, integrating his American Primitivism picking style with lush Dixieland jazz horns, country fiddles, and upbeat orchestral arrangements.
