Album Notes & Community Reviews

On his third solo outing, the former Ultravox frontman shifts away from his trademark icy minimalism toward a much richer, neo-psychedelic pop sound. 'The Golden Section' incorporates organic instrumentation and Beatles-esque melodic sensibilities, resulting in a lush, highly romantic record. This stylistic pivot surprised fans of his earlier robotic synth-pop but showcased his impressive versatility.
