Album Notes & Community Reviews
A powerful and eclectic session recorded in Paris during the legendary BYG Actuel festival. Led by the Danish free jazz pioneer John Tchicai, the album is a brilliant fusion of fiery avant-garde improvisation with African rhythms and melodies. Featuring an all-star cast of American and European musicians, the album is a key document of the international and collaborative spirit of the late 60s free jazz scene.
