Album Notes & Community Reviews

Another entry in the prolific composer's vast catalog, 'Alea Iacta Est' features one of his acclaimed ensembles navigating complex, through-composed pieces. The album blends the harmonic language of post-bop with the unpredictable structures of the avant-garde, showcasing the incredible technical proficiency of the musicians. It's a dense and rewarding work from one of modern music's most restless figures.
