Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring the virtuosic Simulacrum ensemble, John Zorn channels an incredibly heavy, frantic fusion of avant-garde jazz and progressive rock. 'Chaos Magick' highlights the blazing organ work of John Medeski and the frenetic guitar shredding of Matt Hollenberg, operating as a relentless, highly technical instrumental tour de force. The album is a chaotic, intellectually demanding tribute to occult themes and staggering musicianship.
