Album Notes & Community Reviews

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of his groundbreaking Masada songbook, John Zorn enlisted guitarists Bill Frisell, Marc Ribot, and Tim Sparks to interpret the material. The resulting album is a deeply spiritual, acoustic chamber jazz masterpiece that distills the complex, Klezmer-inspired compositions into stunningly intimate, melancholic solo performances.
