Album Notes & Community Reviews

Written specifically to celebrate his 70th birthday, the legendary avant-garde composer unites an all-star ensemble for a dizzying exploration of heavy jazz fusion. 'Parrhesiastes' crashes the furious technicality of brutal prog and avant-garde metal directly into complex, improvisational jazz structures. The completely instrumental album is incredibly chaotic and rhythmic, showcasing unparalleled virtuosity navigating impossible time signatures.
