Album Notes & Community Reviews

Initiating a highly accessible, melodic phase in the legendary avant-garde composer's career, this release assembles his premier circle of downtown New York musicians including Marc Ribot. The instrumental tracks lovingly pastiche 1960s surf rock, lounge, and exotica, maintaining a warm, breezy atmosphere while retaining an underlying complexity. The album proved incredibly popular, leading to multiple sequels in the 'Dreamers' series.
