Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the success of his first small-group compilation, 'Collates No. 2' presents the unparalleled alto saxophonist continuing to thrive outside the Duke Ellington Orchestra. The sessions perfectly balance his incredibly lush, romantic balladry with surprisingly aggressive, blues-oriented swing, demonstrating his vast expressive range.
