Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally intended as a solo vehicle for Duane Allman before the formation of the Allman Brothers Band, the sessions were ultimately completed with the fiercely raw vocals of the veteran Macon bluesman. The blistering, deeply southern fusion of swamp rock, funk, and electric blues perfectly captures the foundational, collaborative spirit of the early Capricorn Records studio family.
