Biography
Macon guitarist Johnny Jenkins played left-handed and upside down, a flamboyant style that influenced *Jimi Hendrix*. As leader of the Pinetoppers he gave *Otis Redding* his start, playing guitar on 'These Arms of Mine' in 1962. His 1970 album 'Ton-Ton Macoute!', recorded for #Capricorn Records# with *Duane Allman*, became a cult swamp-blues classic, its best-known track widely sampled. Jenkins returned to recording in the 1990s after decades away from the music industry.
