Album Notes & Community Reviews

The legendary former Smiths guitarist continues his remarkably successful solo career with a fiercely energetic, incredibly driving alternative rock record. 'Playland' heavily features his signature, chiming jangle-pop guitar style, brilliantly paired with remarkably propulsive, slightly post-punk inspired rhythm sections. The album serves as a wonderfully melodic, highly rhythmic, and brilliantly executed continuation of classic British rock aesthetics.
