Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a significant transition from traditional blues forms, the legendary Texas guitarist enlisted the talents of the McCoys, notably featuring fellow virtuoso Rick Derringer. The resulting collaboration heavily favored a muscular, arena-ready hard rock sound, highlighted by their blistering dual-guitar interplay. It notably introduced the definitive rock standard 'Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo' to the world.
