Stripping back instrumentation to a minimalist trio setup, the eccentric songwriter delivers a charming, unplugged set of rock and roll and doo-wop homage. The acoustic guitars and brushed snare drum create an intimate, nostalgic atmosphere that perfectly suits his earnest, playful lyricism.
