Album Notes & Community Reviews

The final studio album from the underappreciated British progressive outfit is a highly sophisticated, densely orchestrated symphonic masterwork. Once again featuring Ray Russell's brilliant brass and string arrangements, the record pushes heavily into jazz-inflected territory while maintaining its sprawling, Mellotron-driven rock core. It stands as a brilliant, incredibly mature conclusion to the band's brief but formidable 1970s run.
