Biography
British progressive rock band formed in London in 1971 by guitarist John Evan-Jones with keyboard player Jamie Kaleth. Jonesy released three albums on #Dawn Records#: the heavy, Mellotron led 'No Alternative' in 1972, then 'Keeping Up' and 'Growing' in 1973, the latter produced by *Rupert Hine* and winner of a Montreux Diamond Award. A fourth album recorded in 1974 stayed unreleased for decades. The band's intricate arrangements and electric trumpet work by Alan Bown mark it as an overlooked gem of early British prog.
