An exclusively acoustic and analog project from the Sigur Rós frontman and his partner Alex Somers, recorded using a choir and string quartet in Iceland. The record relies on glacial, sweeping ambient textures and delicate vocal washes that completely eschew traditional pop or rock structures. It is widely celebrated as a masterclass in modern, emotionally devastating neoclassical ambient music.
