Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Toronto saxophonist and composer focuses his second solo album around interviews recorded with his mother concerning her struggle with Parkinson's disease. Weaving these deeply intimate spoken-word fragments into lush, ambient jazz textures and new age synthesizer pads, the work is a profound, melancholic meditation on memory and illness.
