Album Notes & Community Reviews

Often regarded as a pivotal transitional project in JPEGMAFIA's discography, 'Communist Slow Jams' was recorded in the aftermath of his military discharge. The mixtape masterfully blends heavily political, pro-socialist themes with cloud rap atmospheres and vaporwave aesthetics. It captures his growing disillusionment with American society, showcasing a distinct template of aggressive, confrontational rhymes contrasted against ethereal, chopped samples.
