Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally distributed locally via underground cassette tape trading, this foundational release by the future Three 6 Mafia co-founder encapsulates the terrifying, lo-fi aesthetic of the early Memphis rap scene. Driven by heavily saturated 808 cowbells, pitch-shifted horror movie samples, and relentless triplet flows, it pioneered production techniques that heavily influence modern hip-hop.
