Album Notes & Community Reviews

Expanding the stark minimalism of her debut, the Memphis-born songwriter incorporates sweeping string arrangements and piano into her emotionally devastating slowcore sound. The record serves as a brutally honest, deeply moving examination of mental health struggles, religious faith, and profound loneliness. Her soaring, powerhouse vocal performances cemented her status as one of the defining voices in modern indie folk.
