Album Notes & Community Reviews

Solidifying her status as the preeminent voice of West Coast cool, the singer tackles a set of moody, late-night standards orchestrated by Bob Cooper. The arrangements frequently utilize muted brass and dark woodwind textures, perfectly complementing her vibrato-less, slightly melancholic vocal phrasing. It is an exquisitely crafted mood album designed for sophisticated, after-hours listening.
