Album Notes & Community Reviews

The veteran English folk singer presents a beautifully bleak, conceptually cohesive collection of traditional songs concerning the sea and seafaring life. 'Ashore' relies on Tabor's dark, resonant vocals and extremely sparse, melancholic piano and string arrangements.
