Communication

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released under the Moon Records imprint, this immaculate production by Junko Yagami stands as a definitive document of Japan's bubble-era City Pop movement. 'Communication' is heavily driven by glossy, synthesized basslines, crisp drum machines, and sophisticated boogie arrangements tailored for urban nightlife. The album's sophisticated integration of Western R&B and freestyle influences has granted it a massive resurgence during the internet-driven City Pop revival.
