Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Or noir' fundamentally shifted the landscape of French hip-hop, almost single-handedly importing the dark, hyper-aggressive sounds of Chicago drill music to Europe. Produced entirely by Therapy (2093 & 2031), the album provides a menacing, bass-heavy backdrop for Kaaris's incredibly violent and gritty street narratives. It is universally cited as a landmark record that redefined modern French rap production.
