Album Notes & Community Reviews

Concluding the conceptual narrative inspired by Goethe's Faust that began with 'Epica', this release is highly regarded for its intricate orchestrations and melancholic tone. Roy Khan's versatile tenor drives the dense power metal arrangements, featuring prominent symphonic elements and a significant guest vocal performance by Shagrath of Dimmu Borgir.
