Biography
Kamelot is a symphonic power metal band from Tampa, Florida, formed in 1987 by guitarist Thomas Youngblood. After two albums in the 1990s, singer Roy Khan's arrival powered a classic run from 'Siége Perilous' (1998) to 'The Black Halo' (2005). Tommy Karevik replaced Khan in 2012, fronting 'Silverthorn', 'Haven', 'The Shadow Theory' and 'The Awakening'. Keyboardist Oliver Palotai and bassist Sean Tibbetts complete the modern lineup.
