Kath Bloom's fragile, deeply emotional vocal delivery is supported entirely by Loren Mazzacane Connors's free-flowing, heavily bent acoustic blues improvisations. The incredibly raw, unpolished recordings were distributed in minuscule quantities, eventually becoming highly prized holy grails of the American avant-folk underground.
