Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded entirely on rudimentary equipment, this stunningly intimate collaboration pairs devastatingly vulnerable acoustic songwriting with highly unconventional guitar techniques. Kath Bloom's fragile, deeply emotional vocal delivery is supported entirely by Loren Mazzacane Connors's free-flowing, heavily bent acoustic blues improvisations. The incredibly raw, unpolished recordings were distributed in minuscule quantities, eventually becoming highly prized holy grails of the American avant-folk underground.
