Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded with unflinching, lo-fi intimacy, this stark collaboration highlights the profound emotional depth of the duo's minimalist approach. Bloom's piercing, fragile vocals are perfectly offset by Mazzacane's highly abstract, weeping guitar improvisations, heavily rooted in early country-blues traditions. The record is a devastating, beautiful artifact of deeply personal outsider folk music.
