Album Notes & Community Reviews
Toby Driver steers Kayo Dot into quieter, more woodwind-heavy territory on this intricate album. 'Blue Lambency Downward' is less metal than its predecessors, focusing on complex, jazz-inflected compositions and dreamlike atmospheres. It is a challenging, abstract work of avant-garde rock.
