Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed by the former drummer of John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, this ensemble carved out a unique space in the British scene by heavily integrating brass arrangements into extended blues-rock jams. The debut seamlessly blends the structural discipline of big band jazz with the gritty, improvisational energy of the late-1960s underground.
