Album Notes & Community Reviews

Kehlani's sophomore album is a more focused, mature, and sonically cohesive work than its predecessor. Heavily steeped in the atmospheric, bass-heavy sound of trap soul, 'It Was Good Until It Wasn't' presents a candid and often melancholic exploration of a relationship's unraveling. With its lush production and vulnerable songwriting, the album was a critical success, praised for its emotional depth and thematic consistency.
