Affection

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Trading his signature wall-of-noise electric assault for a strikingly sparse acoustic approach, this intimate solo performance focuses entirely on voice and acoustic guitar. The agonizing, elongated phrasing reveals a hauntingly solitary take on traditional folk structures that remains deeply unsettling. It highlights the avant-garde icon's capacity for intense, naked vulnerability.
