Imikuzushi

by Keiji Haino, Jim O'Rourke & Oren Ambarchi

Imikuzushi cover art

Documenting an incredibly abrasive, fully improvised set from a Tokyo club, this collaborative trio produced a staggering masterwork of modern Japanese noise. Driven by O'Rourke's distorted bass and Ambarchi's frantic drumming, the recording serves as a suffocating, chaotic foundation for Haino's iconic, terrifying guitar feedback and vocal shrieks.
