Stepping outside their usual Tokyo residency, the formidable improvisational trio delivered this overwhelmingly tense performance live in Taipei. The recording eschews their trademark walls of rock volume for a highly disturbing, cryptic atmosphere, heavily utilizing sparse percussion, electronic drones, and Haino's terrifying, ritualistic vocalizations.
