Album Notes & Community Reviews

Renowned as the 'Standards Trio', this performance completely abandons established jazz repertoire in favor of entirely spontaneous, modal group improvisation. The resulting four-part suite perfectly captures the telepathic intuition and pristine acoustic fidelity that defined ECM Records' output during the 1980s.
