The seventh studio album from the Manitoban trio is a ferociously bleak integration of metallic hardcore and abrasive noise rock. Thematically obsessed with human cruelty and emotional manipulation, the record features intensely cynical, shouted vocals over jagged, lurching basslines and saxophone bursts. It captured widespread critical acclaim in the heavy underground for its relentless hostility and grim aesthetic.
