Album Notes & Community Reviews

Masterminded by August Darnell, this vibrant collision of big-band swing, Latin rhythms, and slick post-disco production achieved massive chart success across Europe. The project's highly theatrical, sophisticated wit provided a wildly entertaining contrast to the austere post-punk dominating the period's underground.
