No Home Record

Releasing her very first true solo album at the age of 66, the iconic Sonic Youth co-founder teams with producer Justin Raisen to radically update her sound. The record merges her signature abrasive, spoken-word deadpan and jagged noise-rock guitar with heavily distorted 808 drum machines and cold, industrial electronic beats. It acts as a fiercely modern, abstract critique of capitalism, consumerism, and the gentrification of Los Angeles.
