Flying Microtonal Banana

As the first volume of 'Explorations into Microtonal Tuning', the album centers on quarter-tone compositions performed on custom-modified instruments, including guitars, basses, and harmonicas, alongside the zurna, a Turkish woodwind. This approach imbues the band's established psychedelic and acid rock sound with Anatolian and krautrock characteristics, creating trance-like drones and motorik rhythms. The result is a fusion of non-Western scales and propulsive, experimental rock that seamlessly integrates complex new tonalities into the group's accessible, high-energy style.
