Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Infest the Rats' Nest' documents the band's deliberate and aggressive turn towards thrash and heavy metal, influenced by acts like Mot枚rhead, Slayer, and Metallica. The album's sound, driven by chugging riffs, double-kick drumming, and harsh vocals, was primarily recorded by a core trio from the larger band. This sonic assault is paired with a cli-fi concept narrative that addresses ecological disaster and class warfare, first on a dying Earth and then following a doomed mission to colonize Venus.
